Great Weekend

Well, I think that Layla enjoyed her first Easter.  She found the basket the bunny got her, and after going through everything, we had to check to make sure there was nothing else in the basket!

She got all dressed up to go to grammas for Easter dinner, and to celebrate gramma's birthday. 

Layla got to visit the bunny this week, and partake in a few egg hunts.

We hope that everyone has a great weekend! Layla got to participate in her first Easter Egg Hunt this year. Notice the eggs that we found that are shaped like ladybugs - I couldn't resist them!

What a day!

We have had a few weeks of teething pains in our house, and last night, the first tooth finally cut through. Only 19 more to go, right? Hopefully once this one comes up and gets settled, we start sleeping better.  In reality, we will probably just get started on suffering through the next tooth!

Yesterday was also the first day that Layla sat down and ate an entire jar of babyfood.  She will take some bites here and there, but she seemed to grasp it yesterday - if I open my mouth, mama will put more in. =)

Fun Week!

Layla is all dressed up for Aunt Na Na's baby shower. Its hard to believe that in just a few more months, the twins will be here. We are so happy for them!

Layla is loving the swing at TT's house. She kicks her feet the entire time, its pretty funny to watch her try to run on the swing.

She is officially mobile....Layla can roll from her front to back and back to front now.  Watch out world, we've got a roller. A roller that loves to play with her toes!

So, Layla doesn't have much of an interest yet, but we are trying. Witness....sweet potato!

Six months already.

On one hand, I can't believe Layla is six months old.  Where has the time gone? But, on the other hand, I can't believe she is only six months old. She feels like she has been a part of our lives forever. Every day is a new adventure, just waiting to see what she learns. She is sitting up now, babbling like its her job, splashing her feet in the tub.  She pets the animals instead of pulling their ears (amazing!) and she lights up every time her daddy walks in the room. Its too cute for words. Nothing compares to being her mama.

 I love my time with dad, he always makes me smile!
